Getting into AoE3 through DE, booting up for the first time and hearing the main menu theme, and going into the skirmish menu and hearing the Revolution theme ready to go into a match vs AI.

3v3 game… but nobody noticed when selecting teams, it was actually 2v4. So my teammate and i won through some really close and lucky battles. Now we are friends in rl

finally managing to get my friends into the RTS genre all thanks to the AOEIII DE, and all the fun nights of deck theory crafting and matches against hordes of soldiers of the enemy AI

Damn, this is easy, since i had many, but hard, since i have to choose one…
But i would say the LAN nights passed with friends playing aoe 2 and then AoE 3, from saturday to monday always trying new stuff and laughing and joking… Cursing each other when we destroyed each other bases… Or being euphoric when we managed to do a comeback agains extreme AI…
Sadly those days seems passed… Or are they? I have hope that i can get the squad back together with this DLC…

When I played in the first season of the German AoE 3 League last year. I was up against the best player in my league, with him on Spain. That was back when the spanish logistician was still an absolute menace. I played Haude for the third time or so. 52 minutes later i got to claim the first victory. I then continued to beat him in a India mirror. most satisfying win so far. They livecasted it as well. Absolutely amazing feeling afterwards! And I still play with that guy to this very day.

Honestly doing the Sepoy Campaign. Learned a lot about the past history, use of cannons and overall just gained a deeper love for my people’s will to be successful as an Indian. Loved how Nanib toed the line until he realized it would hurt his people.

The original Age of Empires III launch was the first time I was old enough to play on launch day. I can still vividly remember the entire room my childhood friend and I played Age of Empires III in for the first time after school.
