Qizilbash don't react to taunt commands during Ismail campaign

The red faction qizilbash doesn’t respond to taunt campaigns in two missions near the end of the Ismail campaign. I say “attack player #3” or whatever, and they don’t reply. On one of the last missions, Babur responds to flares, but qizilbash never does anything. What gives?

In the objectives menu it doesn’t even tell me what commands I can use. How could a DLC from 3 years ago be broken this way?

Don’t listen to him. That’s not the real Viper; it’s just an imposter, troll, and ban evader.
