Do you mean that maps generate similarly every time or that using the random choice in game set-up repeatedly picks the same few types of maps?
If you trow a dice again after it landed on a 6, the chance of getting a 6 again is exactly as high as getting a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
It might feel a lot less random to get the same thing twice in a row but that’s not how randomness works.
Random does not mean an equal distribution.
You could argue that the game should do more false randomness.
If you have 12 players with all random gods then you kinda expect everyone to have a different god but with only 13 gods that is super unlikely, it is more likely to have one god appear 3 times.
So real randomness is often not what we want.
Like @Skadidesu says, what feels random may not always match up with what is actually random. If you want to claim that the maps you’re getting are not random (first of all: please specify what exactly you’re talking about. Ranked queue? Selecting the “random” option in a skirmish/lobby? Something else?), you’ll need to present some data to back that up. Not just vibes. Get a record of your last ~100 games or so, and which maps were in each. Then either you or someone else can perform the necessary statistical tests to determine how random it is.
The other thing with randomness is that if your selection of people is large enough then the chance that one individual has bad luck with maps also increases.
