Twice now all my teammates have left soon after the game starts, and for some reason I am getting temporary ranked bans for also leaving, why is this a thing?, I dont exactly want to waste time trying to 1v4 and if I was on the other team I also wouldn’t want to waste my time on it and would want the last one to leave. Surely this will be changed?

u need to wait to minute 5 to resign. It doesnt matter if any of your teamates resigned first. System is actually trash for team games.

They could at least have checked if a player is the first to leave or not …

What if you’re defeated? If you delete your TC and vills does that still count as leaving early?
Yep it’s totally stupid. But there are workarounds. Delete all your vils/units and production buildings. Didn’t test it myself but people told if you get defeated you won’t get banned.

defeated doesent count only resigning. as such just delete tc and vills instead of resigning

most important thing, before you completly leave the game: go into diplomcy menu/game chat menu, click on the exclamation mark next to their name and report them for insta resgining, so they get punished and not every player has to experience the same thing as you.
