[MERGED] Ranked Random map Game Crashes when tech tree is opened

ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Whenever the tech tree is open during match finding for ranked games the game crashes immediately after a game is found.
I do not know if this is caused by a mod (I have the localization fix and enhanced data tooltip mod)

100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

Join the queue for a ranked game in DE.
Open the tech tree.
Wait for match to be found.

Kinda similar behaviour when you have the tech tree open when the host is readying up in a lobby with mods (where you get the confirmation message to download the mod)… also breaks the game. Crash report here:

So looks like there should not be any interruption when being in the civ selector, otherwise you can restart

When waiting in RM queue (I did 1v1) and opening the tech tree while waiting, the game crashes to desktop.

Open tech tree and keep it open
When match is found, game will crash.

Same here. When waiting the matchmaking for tg the player exploring civs crashes to desktop and the rest have to do Alt-f4 to close the game cuz nothing works

Happens everytime. This and the laggy late Game is the upset of this patch.

Same here. The game is crashing during matchmaking with an open Tech Tree as soon as there is a game started.

In addition to this, i experience strange crashes to the desktop in 1vs1 …

In multiplayer menu, during matchmaking in a party, when match is found while viewing tech tree, game completely crashes. This problem constantly happens and we experienced this on both Steam and Microsoft Store version.
