# Really really bad graphics

everything is highly pixelated, with weird twinkling textures

I have  
|Processor|11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz|  
|Installed RAM|16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)|  
With Iris XE graphics

Have you double checked your drivers by chance? Certainly seems like you have the power not to have to run the game on performance, but then again integrated graphics are tricky. Some times they work fine and some times they just don’t from game to game in my experience.

yeah I’ve updated them to the latest. I had a similar issue with humankind where Windows flat-out was denying access to my graphics card until I updated. Could also be a Windows 11 thing. I wasn’t expecting this laptop to be a graphics powerhouse at all, but I figured it should be able to at least look like the game wasn’t from the 90s.

Having same issue with same processor with Iris Xe graphics, mine looks even worse - did you work out the problem? any advice? Thanks

That looks like the in game resolution scale is turned down?

Hi. I tried playing with all the settings and they mostly made things worse, not better. I don’t think the game is playable with intel’s integrated graphics cards.

got it working this was the key, gameplay resolution scale

then set the main graphics setting from low to medium then adjust all the settings to this

- Image quality: Low
- Animation quality: Low
- Shadow quality: Low
- Texture detail: Low
- Geometry detail: Low
- Physics: Low
- Anti-aliasing: Off
