I’d expect this to be said by indie companies, not Microsoft.
It must be. Why would they make it the 31st? Only so they can pick any date in 2018 when they figure out the new release date 
Yep, perfectly obvious this is a placeholder due to lack of exact date on store. Announcement stated Q1 2018.
Well I would hope it comes out early 2018. The UI looks really bad.

Actually I’m a little offset too, I got this email from microsoft store saying that the game I preordered got delayed, a great way to start off your morning…
It is delayed so the developer gets more time to create a great game that they want to make. The fact that this is possible shows some good sides about publisher Microsoft
Oh I’m pissed… First I wake up to find out the news that the game has been delayed… Then I log into this site to find out I’m no longer singed up for the beta, which I did months ago. WTF Microsoft? The email I received says December 31st 2018… Holy smokes that’s over a year away and I was charged already for the game last week.
the store just updated to Dec 31 so new years eve not so bad

If you read the announcement they made they state that the game would be released early 2018. So it will most likely be released jan/fed 2018 not in the december, the date on the windows store probably only a technical error…
I wanna be in the beta. I got the survey and I guess I failed it since no beta invite. Any chance to redo it or something?
