Relic will have its stand at GAMESCOM but i don’t think their presence Is relating tò the upcoming AOE4 DLC.
I mean, It could be possibile as well but developers don’t buy (It very expensive) a stand only to show a a DLC.
They already released the Dawn of War definitive edition (150.000 sold copies in 24 hours).
And i probably wrong but Is RELIC ever been present as studio during the announcement of AOE4 and related Dlcs? I remember only the “behind the scene video”
In the guide to the games being presented at the recorded Gamescom for Xbox, Age of Empires IV appears as one of the big titles scheduled for Thursday. That being the case, Relic might be there to talk about the new expansion.
And if not, maybe Forgotten Studios will, who knows. Of course, regardless of who does the interview, what is confirmed is that Relic will have a stand, I suppose to answer rumors or spread hype about all of its products, AoE IV included.
It would be nice if someone from the forum is going to the event and would be willing to go to the Relic booth and ask them for information or more gossip, I’d be grateful.
Of course, the logical thing is that after launching AoE 4 and CoH 3, the next move would be DoW 4 (making it less MOBA than DoW 3 and more RTS builder like DoW 1 DE)… DoW 3 ended with the awakening of the Necrons, so DoW 4 will probably go in that direction… a grand 3-way campaign between the Space Marines, the Orks and the Necrons fighting each other for control of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies…
Yes, Forgotten Empires is in charge of the AoE 4 expansions, since Relic only handled the base game and simply left the tools to FE to continue developing the game…
Relic’s name was all over Sultans Ascend, but not Knights of Cross and Rose. Well after Sultans Ascend came out, Forgotten Empires themselves stated that Relic works the game.
Ah, because I had read that since KoCaR no longer had a campaign and had FE written all over it, so I said “ah well, then Relic is no longer in charge of AoE 4 and has been replaced by FE” (or at least by the FE team in charge of Retold)…
Last time in 2022, they announced Malians and Ottomans at the Gamescom. They will announce the DLC with the preorders, and release it at the end of the season, which is in October. I wonder if all the relative civilizations related to Knights Templar will be added someday. I’m sure some of them will. Now I don’t know the size of the next DLC, but I would like to throw a coin in the fountain, and wish it’s bigger than we expect. Since bigger and exciting it is, bigger the fanbase will be, therefore I hope that’s the way the capitalistic corporate system could work. A new big refreshing push, for a bigger online playerbase, and relevance, would be great if someday they could restore the original shaders, and textures, I think though this could be daydreaming, the game is fun though. Still alive and hopeful.
Dogshit. Pure shit. Civs that nobodies ask for, everybody was waiting for Vikings or spanish or indio american civ…
Only the Golden Horde (mongol variant) is well-know and ppl recognize it. dah goodbye I will not spend a single dollar in this shit.
I mean these civs look sick, I’m definitely going to play the shit out of the new elephant civ. But yeah totally get where you’re coming from and wanting wholly unique ones, hopefully will still get that in the future.
