RELIC entertainment will be present at GAMESCOM: Dow4 or something else?

I already supported the devs for years only to get V&V, The Three Kingdoms, a DLC promised and never worked on and cut, and more than two years of only variants and near zero sp content. That’s already me fooled far more than twice.

I will not support a company that slaps right in your face, promise something and then lie about it.
And then be like as if nothing had happened, meanwhile making fun, blocking, denying or simply dont care about you as a customer, your money, your time and support

For what? There’s more sense to develop a new AOE5 with Unreal Engine if they wanna support other platforms

I’m going to enjoy the game, drink champagne and enjoy every bit of this masterpiece, if you are deluded, just leave the community and don’t create toxicity, they know what they can do, and are doing, it’s complex how the companies work, and the devs are doing their best, buy this DLC, or never see a new one.

It’s not the right mode. You could leave the wrong message: variants and rogue mode are beatiful. Carry on!!!

The core base of AOE are casual who love to play with Campaigns, skirmish and co-op.

Offering a new strategic Map, new Campaigns and civilizations would be the right way to convince people to buy your Games.

Today, AOE4 is a multiplayer game with not offers single player contents: this Is the Truth.

They will always get the wrong message. Or not the same message from our perspective. Because buzinys.

They did Chronicles in AOE2. It was received well. In fact the only positively rated DLC in years. We thought it means pretty clear that “adding other settings as a sub game is beneficial for the game’s sustainability”.
Yet the message WE get is: hey that worked. People don’t really care about settings. Next time we can skip all the labor and dump other settings directly into the main game

I believe many people including myself bought Sultan’s Ascend for the new civs and campaign. The first variants were poor but they’re overlookable additions. I thought this is pretty clear to them.
Yet WE thinks: hey variants worked. People don’t care that much about unique languages and models. Let’s just double down on variants.

I’m done with it. Long had we tolerated cheap efforts as long as they came with something really good. Now what we get in return? Cheap efforts only.

They’re literally offering single player content with this new DLC.

Every politician has delivered everything they promised during election. Just don’t ask how.

My only disappointment is that I think this mode should be single-player AND co-op.

Co-op would be fantastic, yeah!

Uh… trusting Relic? Look, these people shafted people that got the premium edition of CoH3, they bungled DoW3 so badly a different company is making DoW4. They shot themselves in the foot needlessly with the trailer for the DoW remaster (thankfully, they fixed that heresy). And now we have another four variants instead of base civilizations. You talk of trust, but Relic really hasn’t earned it.

Do you really consider the Rogue mode as a mode for casual players? Come One, mate

I’m a casual player, and it looks interesting to me!

Does anyone know anything until it’s actualy been released? Barring what previews we get, of course.

People seemed to also have “accidentally” forgot this one “bold” “sp” mode costs more than 2 full civs + a full campaign.

While Arena of Gods is FREE

Major win for PS5 gamerz

Huh? That seems to be exactly what it is.

It’s a sarcasm. It’s a stupid mode, nothing more.

What? So you think it IS a mode for casual players?
