Remove Monks from "Select all military" hotkey

It is really annoying to send a monk to fetch a relic, select all military units and find the monk moving with ur troops

“Monks with relics” has already been removed from the hotkey, I hope monks would be removed all together, or alteast monks that are tasked to fetch a relic

The autoscout is sometimes annoying too. As are trebs, which disable attack-move.

I think the most comprehensive solution would be to allow players to mark units as “not military”, on a unit-by-unit basis (units, not unit-types).

(and ideally it would be reversible).

Occasionally you do want the monks there. They heal stuff.

Sorry for necroing this thread, but I think it makes more sense than creating a new one.

Apparently, monks with relics have already been removed from the “Select all military” hotkey. Is there still any way to find them on the map?

I like to use the “Select all military” hotkey to check if I have any idle military units in my base, and at a later stage of a match I use “Select all villagers” to check if there are any idle villagers in my base (and not on the front repairing units etc). But monks with relics remain undiscoverable, because they aren’t included in any of these hotkeys.

So if I forget to Shift-queue a monk to bring the relic right back to a monastery and get distracted by an ongoing battle, it happens from time to time that a monk holds the relic in his hands for the rest of the match.

Even when the match finished, the whole map is revealed and I try to figure out where the remaining relics are, there does not seem to be a way to find them by hotkeys, I actually have to play “Where is Waldo” to find them.

Am I missing something? Is there a hotkey I don’t know about?

looks like this is finally fixed … 5 years later
