Team game Elos often don’t work. Someone with a 1900 Elo can be teamed up with someone with a 1300 Elo, or even pitted against each other. I think team play Elos is unnecessary and should be removed. Teams should be built around 1v1 Elos. There might be some issues, but I’m sure it would be more balanced than the current situation.
There is a reality behind this statement : More the Elo is high and less players exist so the more you match with larger Elo gap. They can setup the system to mach with closer Elo but we would wait forever.
But nothing force you to play team rank.
The solution is simple - if you team up based on 1v1 elo, the wait times will be reduced. Tg elo might exist, but it’s practically useless. It’ll just continue to appear as a badge.
Why you cannot do that if you remove TG elo?
