The Ottoman, Japanese, Chinese and Indian hometowns are all weird in one way or another.
The Ottoman hometown seemingly has no unique asset or customization option other than Hagia Sophia.
Also, I heard that in this time period it would be called Konstantiyye and not Instambul.
The Japanese hometown has a castle as its treasury, a building seemingly based on the Temple of Heaven (located in Beijing) as its imperial court, a weird pagoda thing labelled as a fortress, and their commons house seems to be based on a Shinto shrine
The Indian hometown is named after Delhi, but includes the Taj Mahal which is located at Agra.
The Chinese hometown also has nonsensical choices for the importand buildings (the small round pagoda is the imperial court and the manor-looking building is a fortress, for example).
And while I was writing this topic, I’ve been informed that the German cathedral is based on Köln Cathedral, which is not located in Berlin (the German home city).
And this one has been brought up multiple times before, but the cathedral used in the Portuguese, Spanish and Maltese hometowns is Lisbon Cathedral and should show up only in the Portuguese home city.
