[RoR] Sheep becomes invisible while standing

In Return of Rome, since patch 141935, the idling Sheep often turns invisible, then reappears. Probably because it uses a second idle animation that isn’t available.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the Scenario Editor and place a Sheep (and a unit that prevents the player from losing).
  2. Test the scenario. Watch the Sheep and see it becoming invisible.

The Sheep should remain visible.

the same thing happens to me but only when I use data mods (for example 6x tech 10x resources)

Could you confirm this issue is happening when you don´t have any mod activated? As @majiira mentinoed, this could be related to a mod that is conflicting with the animation

@IvanHCastro I’m not using mods.
When viewing the dataset of RoR with the Genie Editor, one can see that the Sheep is configured to use a second idle animation (“IdleB”), which doesn’t exist (anymore) in the drs folder.
The base game Sheep doesn’t use a second idle animation.

I reported the issue, as you mentioned it is related to use an incorrect animation

Found this issue in build 143421. Sheeps turned invisible for moments, then turned visible again. This happened on a loop, in a “twingling/blinking” manner.

Also, I noticed that butterflies disappeared after a few seconds, too, only to appear again, and then go invisible again (on a loop). Maybe it has something to do with the bug that affects sheep, too, @fe_dev_team.

I think Butterflies were like that before. No second idle animation configured for them. Whether it’s actually intended to be like this, I don’t know, though. Note that Butterflies don’t have “normal” sprites, the little blue ones are particle effects.
