Issue:
Save game save name failed to load
This first happened on an auto save but now it’s happening to several save games both auto and manual
Trigger Event:
Trying to load a previous save file either from in game, in the menu, or from a fresh boot of the game
Repro Steps:
It happens multiple times but I’m unaware of how it is reproducing
This is happening to me too and I have no idea how to reproduce the faulty save games

What the hell is going on with the saves? Most of them are not working? Cant load autosave and cant load my manual saves most of the time. Its just a pop up

Saved Game: Save 2024-09-09 12-25-52 failed to load.
Quick save and quick load not working, same error. Manual save does not overrite the previous save. Only take me to the original first save stage.
same, i can not continue the campaign at all.
Same problem here, sometimes save and autosave files fail to load. Really annoying when you’re playing the campaign on titan difficulty where saving and loading sometimes saves you a lot of time when you need to try a part again.
It sounds like a frustrating issue. Have you tried verifying the game files through Steam or reinstalling the game? Sometimes this can fix issues with save files not loading.
Made a separate bug report so they can see more of it. Give all the posts about save errors some like so they know its serious. Made some screens also.
iv sent 3 emails with saved games but so far its not even under known issues.
its been over a week at this point…
Same here, never been able to load a game, and even worse, if it fails it ends the game meaning you start from scratch…
