Yes, he was a beautiful madman… he fought in WW2 against the Germans with a longbow at long range and a sword at close range from the Battle of Dunkirk in 1940. Then the Germans captured him in Yugoslavia leading some commandos and partisans in August 1944 and he was imprisoned in a concentration camp and when he was rescued by the British in April 1945 with the end of the war in Europe, they sent him to Burma in August 1945 and when he arrived, they told him that the war had also ended in Asia because of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and he hit the ground with his hand shouting “If it weren’t for those damned Yankees, we could have continued this war for another ten years!”
