Sengoku overpowered, thoughts for potential nerfs

I think, that civilization of Sengoku daimyo is overpowered with their buffs, potential nerfes includes:

  1. Reducing maximal buff from matsuri to 20%
  2. reducing health of yatai to 100-150 hp
  3. ability to build matsuri - starting from age 2 as many civilization can
  4. Reduce matsuri radius of effect - to 5-6 tiles
  5. more price increase in mounted units ( +10 gold)

What in addition of that, the Matsuri is available starting at Feudal Age
And Survival Techniques with a little discount to compensate?

The most OP aspect of Sengoku is definitely the Sword Hunt Statue.

Simply nerfing Matsuri won’t change the fact that the Mounted Samurai remain OP in team games; it’ll just delay the inevitable.

Correspondingly, the Tanegashima Ashigaru is worth a cost reduction.

If what they want is for archers not to destroy them in some shots, they could do what the battering rams do: “Make them receive 40% more melee damage”*.

The patch says it will increase the cost of the mounted samurai by +10, so CHECK.

As I understand it, this is OP because it has a bug that makes the attack boost larger than intended.

According to the patch notes, they’re going to fix it, so CHECK.

So let’s see. As far as I know, the Sengoku Mounted Samurai can already crush a value-equivalent combo of Spearmen and Crossbowmen. Yeah, that means it can straight-up cut down an army with a 2.4x numerical advantage that is supposed to be its hard counter.
