Shift queue units and shift queue ralley points are practically conflicting

Shift queueing units and shift appending ralley points use both the same modifier key (shift).

I consider this a bug, because it was common practice forever to select a building and setting the ralley point WHILE shift queueing units. The new feature breaks this habit and requires extra attention and two extra key presses (release and press again shift). Basically every lategame I see people appending rally points for no reason and it’s super annoying.

Select one or more production buildings.
Hold shift pressed and queue units, meanwhile go with the screen to the desired ralley point point location and set the ralley point → There will not be a new ralley point, but an appended.

  • Ability to turn off ralley point appending feature in the options
  • Use different modifier key than shift for appending ralley points
