Should i uninstall or wait

I was getting kind of bored with the limited content of the xbox version of this game not to mention frustrated with the developers prioritizing stuff that i could care less about and was wondering if i should delete this game and install something else with the new space or try to hold out before doing so in case my expectations are met. Personally i dont think my expectations will be met at all even though it would make the issues null. I dont want to uninstall if i dont have to but between my concern that there will never be a level editor nor do i really care about balance im starting to lose hope and the developers lack of action is making me think the 43 gigabytes could be better used elsewhere. What do you think? And developers please give either feedback or something because i really cant continue playing this version with these parity issues.

Can’t really offer any advice, when you don’t say what your expectations are other than a level editor. You don’t care about balance? Why not?

I dont really play online multiplayer if at all where balance is critical i mostly use the level editor which makes its absence more jarring especially since this is currently the only version i can play (my pc nuked itself i dont have gamepass and i cant use steam on console)

I see what you are saying. It’s difficult without having a pc option. Hopefully some developer will provide you with some indication as to future plans. Hate to lose a player, I hope if works out for you.

I have to say the developers really havent been transparent if at all id hate to go as well but i just dont see any developers reading forums and its not like theyd listen to me anyway.

I dont have the clout with developers even if i were to talk to one of them.

AOE2 appeared for Xbox only for Microsoft to make money. But it is still a PC game…

Look at the level of the guys playing on xbox, they are all 700 elo.

You mean stuff you couldn’t care less about, not “could” :face_with_monocle:

My two cents:

I highly doubt the devs will bring the Scenario Editor to Xbox in a high-functioning state within the next year (if ever). The Scenario Editor in the PC version of AoE2 is already one of the more obviously neglected aspects of the game, with almost none of its major bugs being among the stated priorities for fixes within the next few months. And using the Editor with an Xbox controller would be substantially more difficult, and probably much more limited. Pair that with a very high effort-to-reward ratio (I don’t think they’re going to sell an Xbox Editor as a DLC or whatever), and honestly, I’d be surprised if it ever gets one. So I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for this.

The lack of immediate transparency from the dev team is what i think holds it back not necessarily low demand for it im not asking for a high budget on this anyways just something that at the bare minimum is there as an option

Some people say could others say couldnt it all means the same thing when talking about stuff you dont care about

Could and couldn’t are opposites of each other so they can’t possibly mean the same thing. Here’s why:
