Single player custom game is black screen

Issue:

When I go to custom game for single player, it becomes black screen with main menu freezing on it.

Reproduction Steps:

Here’s how to reproduce the problem:

  1. From main menu, click on Single Player
  2. Click on Custom Game and then it becomes black screen.

Based on your Dxdiag, I’d say your RAM is broken.

you have multiple application crashes with “Event Name: RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64”, which suggest faulty RAM, or the program not properly managing your RAM.

Your other programs have also crashed with RAM issues, these programs being:

  • TEdit.exe
  • tModLoader.exe
  • mysqld.exe
  • shotcut.exe

You should test your RAM. Windows has good inbuilt program to do so.

I’ve scanned the memory and it has no problem.

There are 2 results in event viewer (MemoryDiagnostics-Results).

  1. The Windows Memory Diagnostic tested the computer’s memory and detected no errors
  2. The Windows Memory Diagnostic tested the computer’s memory and detected no errors

The black screen problem still exists.

Those programs (TEdit, mysqld, etc…) are working fine. Always working fine (or at least it doesn’t crash on its own but because I did something wrong). I don’t know why it does exists in the list. Only AOE 1 that has a problem.
