Issue: It’s not possible to age up in single player.
When i play a game in singleplayer i gather my resources and build my temple. But there is no image for the Age up.
And when i press the old hotkey Z to age up i get a screen of minor gods that is black with no descriptions.
It is not possible to age up in single player games.
Trigger Event:
The UI or Language.dll file doesn’t seem to load, or there is a problem with the techtree file.
This is not a player problem, this is a coding problem in the software. This version of the game is clearly not ‘playtested’.
Repro Steps:
- (List the steps needed to reproduce the issue): open single player, start game, gather resources for age 1, build temple, click on your town center. Notice there is no button for age up. Press key Z on your keyboard to get the screen of age up.
- (Indicate if you were able to reproduce this, to help us identify frequency of the issue) Yes i was able to reproduce this. See screenshot below.
The above images are with the Dutch language. I reproduced it with English language as seen below.
So this is probably concerning coding of the techtree xml file. Or the UI file because the image doesn’t show up at all in the town center.
While in Multiplayer it does show up!!
