Every time I tried to start a skirmish, the game keeps crashing. I thought it was a problem with the USA civ, so I tried it with another civ (Japanese) and it still crashes!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Choose any civ in skirmish
2. Choose any map
3. Start the game

The skirmish game will continue as normal

by any chance do you have mods active?

Yes I have mods active.

Try disabling them to see if it crash. If it doesn’t, some mod needs to be updated

I’ve disabled the mods, and the game now works.
