I could say gitgud but I’ll instead say that judging the ability of 1700+ is hypocritical from your position.
I can most certainly look at and judge the civs’ current toolset and let the graph do the talking about the players and how they use those tools.
The Slavs do not need this change at all.
Regarding the defense buildings of the Slavs, the introduction of Detinets is already quite a good change. If it were to change, I’d rather have Detinets also affect TC and Stone Wall/Gate as well.
The main problem with detinets is that it’s a choice between adding wood cost to the building which delays initial castles which would cost precious early wood which would slow down the boom and would also slow down any hope of rushing with boyars at a decent pace or choosing to forgo it to pursue the boom and rush.
The other use of detinets is after you’ve built your initial rush of 3 castles or so you research it when the boom is well on its way to maybe add in two more castles and use the remaining for an emergency castle or to reduce repair costs in key situations.
At the moment, early use of detinets hurts booming potential and reduces the amount of castles you may bring into defense early on which hurts defensive minded players’ abilities to get castles around their base early which is key in deterring heavier raids in early castle age and may bring about some bad habits by getting it early.
It’s certainly a good tech, but when it’s used is going to matter allot, and in contrast the franks’ version is much better.
Slavs don’t even get the last building armor tech nor do they have good towers at all into imperial age.
Maybe give them bombard towers and the last building armor and it would be worth it.
With that in mind, I would suggest that detinets be switched with Druzhina in imperial age and Druzhina moves to castle age to improve their initial men at arms into castle age longswords rush to be beyond somewhat above generic.

Because a full group is reasonable and allows for two full groups to transfer between the other from offense to healing and would allow decent habits to form - where as 120 would be too much and would allow too much room for bad habits to form, such as two full groups, which may be the entire army healing all at once, which that is overkill in most situations aside from some key exceptions.
It would also be harder to balance the increased arrows at that point if archers are involved. That is if the castles gain an increase in arrow max capacity.
