When military units are mixed with vils and I select units, there is no inteligence on it, all units are selected. If on configuration menu I choose to select military then I try to select vils alone in the map they are not selected, it is required to click one by one.
Same issue happened using brits and french more then one time with each civ, it always happens I mean that I played several games in different days.

i would prefer an option to have “box select only selects military units when military units and villagers are available”. this is a feature in Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition
That is a feature in almost every Age games minus AoE 1
