Whats the point of using Hand Cannoneer here? TKs already kill Infantry. You have to use Infantry + Siege + Unique Techs + Castles to win the game and you cant even afford Teutonic Knights or there are 0 zero sense to make them because Champions and Halberdiers steal TKs viability. Thats why I hate the armor bonus. I would have gave them Bracer, Husbandry, buff Crenellations price and nerf the range and maybe Light Cav because their Barracks unit steal TKs viability
If TK get buffed any more you know you’re likely to see Teutons get nerfed elsewhere right?

By your own logic, if you can nerf Leitis, without compensating Lithuanians, who are sitting at 48% win-rate at the highest levels of play
Then a civ like Teutons CANNOT be buffed without nerfing them elsewhere
or are you going to sit there and say you think its fair to nerf a sub 50% winrate civ while also buffing a civ above 50% winrate?
Secondly, top 10 win-rate at the highest level is hardly mid tier.
Thirdly - good luck making Elephants usable in 1v1 without screwing up team game balance.
fourthly - have fun watching the re-balance chaos that happens so you can give every civ good UU.

No one cares about ranked winrstes expect you and JonOli12. Pro players don’t care about ranked. Have you seen Malians beat Chinese, the clearly best civ in the game? Franks have the best winrate but they are a mid tier civ

funny, because Viper literally plays ranked every time he streams. if he doesn’t care about it, why is he playing it? why does he have a little graphic that shows his rank in ranked play?
the fact that you believe these is hilarious. Franks are one of the most picked civs in tournaments, seeing frequent play.
but hey, if ranked doesn’t matter, what is your source of what matters for nerfs and buffs then then? tournament play? your entirely subjective feelings?

Franks are never played on Arabia. Did you see Hidden Cup 3? 80% Chinese-Mayans, 20% Aztecs-Britons-Vikings-Persians on Arabia.
Viper doesn’t care about ranked, he plays for fun, like other pros. If he try harded he would pick these civs (expect Persians) all the time, not 40 cuman steppe lancers, 200 karambit warriors, or mbl’s 5 castle drop, bombard tower wall, vivi’s wonder rushing. Have you seen these in tournaments? No.

because in tournaments you’re only going to choose the best. but guess what? since HC3 3 of those civs have been nerfed. furthermore if i recall correctly, NAC3 literally allowed mirror matches, and HC3 had a bunch of hybrid maps that would favor civs with some sort of water bonus.
you are the one making the statement. you provide the source. that is how it works. it’s called the “Burden of Proof”. if you are making a claim, you are obligated to back up that claim with evidence. Lierrey alone is not enough evidence to back up such a claim.
and just because Viper likes to have fun doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about ranked. the dude is good enough that he can mess around and have fun and Still maintain his top tier rating. If he doesn’t care about his ranking, please explain the graphic in his videos showing his current ranking?

so this game is for pros only? You can’t balance around tournaments with money prizes because you’ll never see non-meta civs and many of the maps are custom

not only this, but the fact is that HC3 literally allowed mirror matches, and a bunch of HC3 maps were hybrid maps that made civs like Japanese appeal more.

Losses are low enough that you’ll sustain the army with just 2-3 relics and 5 farmers -
I’ve gone so far as a near full army of 195, placing the vills and the relics in the corner of the map behind a well placed castle and 4 keeps packed with 60 hand canoneers for defensive play while the army does god’s work
and does your opponent sleep while you get all the insane resources and time to upgrade and mass Paladins+Elite Teutonic knights+ Siege onagers. And also HCs+monks+BBC
