If I have understood this correctly the new remasted aoe and the others will not be making it’s way to steam.
But is this really what the community wants?
Gameranger, voobly and steam the three different major platforms people still play aoe ii at today. But what if there’s a fourth option, Windows Store. A fourth way to divide the player base.
How many exactly will buy this over the steam version?
There isn’t steam versión of AoE 1.

I was talking about the franchise as a whole, and not only aoe 2 or aoe. With the upcoming release of aoe de, I thought it would be appropriate to post on under AOE DE. On which platform that will be released on.
Never said Voobly or Game ranger was official, still gets a lot of players daily.

Suggestion forum is more appropriate than AoE DE.
Steam haven’t servers to AoE unlike Xbox live.
So AOE DE is not available on steam, and there is no news on that, and so if buy from windows store, i might end up buying from steam in the future just for the sake of keeping my game organized?
