I am a returning player, and I saw I had queued into a water map and presumed that would mean I should try a dock opener, and because of the close spawns, watch out for rushes too.
Instead of went to build my dock and train a fishing boat, and there were zero fish anywhere on the shore or in the deep water. Using the wrong opener for this map lost me this game.
I went back to the map’s UI to see if I could have known there were no fish beforehand, but no. The map’s icons, description, and map image all do not say in any way that there is no fish on this map. It is presumed I would just already know.
Yes I know you can scout the shoreline, but why would assume I would need to do that when my experience with every other water map is that fish are plentiful?
This is kind of ridiculous. There should be a no fish icon for maps with water that have no fish.
