Some bugs or game performances that don’t meet expectations

:play_button: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

  1. Ordo Cavalry should provide 120% base health regeneration but 150% in game. (See AGE).
  2. Bombard Tower dps is double than expected. For 8 teuton vils (4 dps) + 2 other civs vils (4.5 dps) = 41 dps ( = 123 / 3 ) can fire extra projectile. It means when calculate the dps, it ues 3 sec reload time instead 6 sec.
  3. Grenadier, something like warwolf trebuchet without 100 accuracy (Warwolf now give 100 accuracy to trebuchet ). So it deals less damage than I expected.
  4. The default AI could only push 4 kinds deers.(Check boarhunting.per)
  5. Scorpion-line, Hei Guang Cavalry etc. have bonus damage vs infantry but no same bonus damage vs condottiero.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Research Ordo Cavalry, make a cavalry unit and let it fight with enemy.
  2. Build a full tech teutonic bombard tower and First garrison 8 teutonic villagers, control another ai with Bracer and Chemistry to garrison 2 villagers. Secondary,garrison 9 teutonic villagers and 1 Bracer and Chemistry completed villagers.
  3. Just use Grenadier to attack a unit with 0 pierce armor, when not directly hit it may cause 0-7 damage.
  4. Check ……\common\AoE2DE\resources_common\ai\Promisory\boarhunting.per from line 1050 to 1053, the ai could only pull 4 kinds of ‘deers’.
  5. Just check these unit vs condottiero.

  1. Fix it to 120% regen rate.
  2. Make a bombard tower dps calculate correcttly.
  3. Mabey it is not a bug, but its damage mechanism not value its cost.
  4. Plus new kinds of ‘deers’.
  5. Plus bonus damage vs condottiero.

  1. Ordo Cavalry is incorrectly set to 120% for Gaia only, should be 150% indeed. We are now tracking this issue.
  2. Bombard Towers have always fired one less projectile than expected, whether it’s with garrisoned Villagers now or any Ranged unit previously, this behavior dates back to AoK.
  3. Grenadiers deal full damage with direct hits on the target they hit, and then the damage tappers off like any other splash damage.
