I was playing with the full tech tree option and went to upgrade my war elephants to elite, couldn’t find the button. I eventually clicked the button to upgrade to elite lancers (or some other elite upgrade in the stable) I think they were called, and the button to upgrade to elite war elephants appeared where it was. I think the button just needs to be moved so it doesn’t end up hidden behind another upgrade.
