I’ve been reading Dutch history, and it seems that the Burgundian state, which controlled parts of Holland, fought some battles against the Spanish Habsburgs. This happened in the sixteenth century, but that doesn’t mean that this is exclusively AOE3 material. I think that it makes good plot for a campaign set entirely in the Imperial age.

I know, but the point of this post is that the Dutch revolted. I’ve just read a bit on those articles I’ve shared that tells how Dutch protestors were obliterated by the Spanish.

Why?we already have burgundians in game and they are the closest thing representing dutch.
