The new spear line ‘at the ready’ attack animations are not bad, but they do not include the chronicles units.
The chronicles spearmen just stand awkwardly still between each attack now, looks really jarring
Chronicles generally hasn’t gotten updated.
Chronicles still has supplies, no unique Elite skins and generally needs some balance improvements.
Infantry is hilariously bad and Spartans can’t really use anything else.

I get the feeling the team working on Chronicles didn’t get much communication from the main team before this update, just the way it seems.
Hopefully those things will be addressed by the time the next chronicles dlc comes
