 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
In the Scenario Editor, the appearance of the eye candy object named “Statue (Civilization)” depends on the player’s architecture. In the case of East Asian architecture, it includes a missing (invisible) asset. The object can no longer be rotated then, but it’s still there. Units will be blocked by the invisible statue.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the Scenario Editor and change Civilzation and Architecture of Player 1 to a civ with East Asian architecture (e.g. Chinese).
  2. Place the object “Statue (Civilization)” (found under “Other” tab) for Player 1.
  3. With “Rotate”, cycle through the different variants of the Statue (Civilization). The object will eventually become invisible and unselectable.

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
The object doesn’t become invisible. Instead, the next statue variant appears.

The theorist in me wonders if this is more evidence of the next “traditional” DLC being in the China area, and in the course of work they’re doing on that they messed up something with this asset…i’m probably getting into tin-foil hat territory but still.

Hi guys!

Thanks a lot for the report of the statue. We were already tracking this issue.
