Steam achievment ahtenian victory don’t unlock

When I win with the athenian civilization I didn’t unlock the steam achievement win with athenian civilization. Also on steam page the achievement with the ahtenian owl shield is called : Armenian victory

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Win a game with athenian
  2. The athenian victory achievement didn’t unlock

translation of achievements is really embarassing in general, i don’t know if AI “translates” them or the intern or what…

For the German version at least it doesn’t say “Armenian”, still the phrasing is weirdly different from the spartan one and there is a “>” copy pasted in there

In general, there is any number of wrong translations, sometimes to the point that it’s difficult to understand what it’s trying to say

Update : The achievement Spartan victory also didn’t unlock. I win 3 game in skirmish with the spartan and still not unlocked.

Thanks for this report about the Steam achievements. I already let the team know about it and we are tracking this issue.

Can confirm, Spartan Victory is still locked for me after winning as Spartans in skimish.

When I first played to get such victory achievements, it didn’t unlock, so I played again, but in a mirror match, and it unlocked after winning such matches.

Today, I just complete Athenian campaign but achievement didn’t show up.
