Based on the Realms mechanic, this is just a hotkey to drop off resources in the nearest drop point of the respective one, this can make a bit easier to control certain villager groups (Ex: collecting food from a boar and dropping the food at the TC) in order to avoid vills just going to other tasks but carrying resources.
