Suggestion: Improvements to AutoQueue / Training Queue

First, I would like to point out that AutoQueue and villager priority are game tools and should be enabled by default in both casual and ranked matches. It has been a staple since 2005 in AoM: The Titans.

Secondly, I’d like to suggest that the developers add a military unit queueing tool until AutoQueue is activated by default. The tool would work as follows:

Now when you click on a military unit but lack the resources to produce it, you receive a warning, and the unit is not added to the training queue. This is one of the main benefits of AutoQueue. Similarly, the ability to right-click upgrades in the Armory to queue them, which was a fantastic addition to the game, serves the same purpose.

My suggestion is that instead of receiving a warning that the unit cannot be created, it could simply be added to the queue automatically, even if you don’t currently have enough resources to train it.

For example:
You want to train 10 Hoplites, so you click 10 times on the Hoplite’s icon. Instead receiving a warning or maybe consuming all the resources immediately, thats another idea, the units could enter a construction queue, where resources are only deducted as the previous Hoplite finishes training.

So instead of receiving an annoying warning that you don’t have enough resources, the unit would remain in a waiting queue until the resources become available, similar to the upgrade queue in the Armory, Storehouse, Temple, etc.

This is essentially what AutoQueue does, but it’s more like a “Manual AutoQueue”.

Ideas about that?

About queing upgrades in armory, theres a bug actually where if you queue say 5 upgrades from 5 different armories, only one will queue the 5 upgrades you selected

I show up on this forum every ten days and see the same stupid problems still persisting. WHY DIVIDE THE COMMUNITY BY MAKING AUTOQUEUE OPTIONAL? Since the original AoM, when I was a kid, AutoQueue has been part of the game. Why do the new developers think they’re better than the old ones and the entire community that has been playing AoM since 2004, 2005???

Im unistalling. i’m done this piece of… I dont know… Piece of… This is just bad, 1 month without update. Ridiculous

sadly, the devs did what they thought was logical (and it seems it is). Pros and people from other RTS were against AQ and those pros from youtube did lots of videos making the debate edven hotter than it really was.
Devs, scared of losing playerbase, decided to make it soft-optional for ranked and standart in QM. the problem? those same pros who were against AQ just quit AOM and basically left the devs with those that are AGAINST Military AQ in ranked being soft-optional.
