Suggestion - Ranked Civilization Toggle 'All' Or 'Chronicle' Or 'Return of Rome' Or 'AOE2'

Solution to the question if ‘Chronicles’ or ‘Return of Rome’ should be on Ranked.

If more vocal players do not want us to be able to Chronicle Civilizations in Ranked matches, then that is absolutely their choice, but they shouldn’t prevent others from doing so. Here’s what I propose to address this: implement the ‘All Civs’ or ‘Chronicles’ or ‘AOE2’ options to Ranked that already exists in Unranked. That would allow AOE2 civs to play against ‘Chronicles’ or ‘Return of Rome’ in Ranked matches, just like Unranked already does.

This solution means the more vocal players can then select the ‘AOE2’ civs toggle, which would prevent them from being matched against players using ‘Chronicles’ or ‘Return of Rome’ civilizations while others can just match up against everything.

You currently can’t play against Return of Rome civs because they are in their own separate game mode with different game mechanics and their own separate dataset.

I made a concept of How to add the AoE1 civilsiations to AoE2 for unranked but that was before Chronicles and also designed to not be ranked. Nowadays I would design it differently and use more Chronicles elements of course. In some way Chronicles gives us AoE1 in AoE2 just very slowly with 3 civs a year.
