As many here have noted with mixed reactions, I have been documenting the “ms reward no play” spam lobbes in the AoE2DE lobby browser since last Saturday.
I thought I’d sum up the findings so far with some graphs and whatnot.
The proportion of spam lobbies between March 9th and March16th (average is 31.88%)
Servers used by the spam lobbies. A decisive favourite of the spam lobby host is UKWEST.
The longest documented uptimes. Exhibit B is undisputed winner in spam lobby with longest uptime. A whopping 70+ hours. On average a lobby which has been observed on consecutive occasions has a longest uptime of 25.72 hours.
Spam lobbies in absolute numbers. On average, there have been 15 spam lobbies up at any one time during the past week.
Steam or Xbox/MS Store, which user likes to host spam lobbies the most? One of them is over-represented to say the least.
An overview of spam lobby retention. How many new spam lobbies appeared each day? How many stayed? How many were returning?
And last but not least: the full table of all 72 unique spam lobbies observed since last Saturday!
