Would adding team bonuses like the way they do in AOE 2 be something that goes well or works against the fundamentals of age of mythology?
Would they do bonus based on pantheon or based on each individual civ in the pantheon?
For example
In a team game, Greeks offer a team bonus of x % increase in speed of human unit production
Norse bonus x % increase in favor production.
Egypt - increase tower build limit
They don’t have to be huge bonuses but it could add some strategic depth to the game.
Since there are only 4 civs I would prefer them related to major Gods instead, giving more diversity
seems unecessary since the indivdual picks are already plenty destinct, there is no need for team bonuses for further destinction. It also would just be more hassle to balance.

Oh god no I hate team bonuses.
I like Team Bonuses in AoE2 and I also like the Team Cards in AoE3.
AoM is kinda missing something like that.
Since AoM doesn’t have generic units or even generic buildings it will be hard to find good bonuses that could be team bonuses without being too powerful.
A lot of those bonuses are already kinda taken away by relics.
