Team Game only players don't understand game balance

I dunno, there are plenty of teamgames with their own wild strategies and tactics that aren’t just the standard Crossbow + Knights meta, especially on closed maps.

I wonder why Viper seems to post Rage Forest content so often if it didn’t have its own share of tactics. Pretty sure he’s said himself that those maps offer a whole lot of new things you generally don’t see that often in 1v1 games.

May be there are a few maps, like enemy archipelago, where you even see 1v1 tactics and also team games. But as far as I know I am not aware of the map you speak. But if he says it must be fun. gl hf happy hunting :smiley:

Viper said on stream that he ended up playing Rage Forest because he was sick of all the shit fast castle maps on 1v1 ranked ladder and not enough open maps. And even Arabia got stale because it was the only map he didn’t mind playing but everyone at high level favourites it, so even though he likes it, it just gets repetitive with no other real open maps.

Yes, I have seen the new Amazon Tunnel 1v1 map he posted recently, it has a lot more open space in the middle. I think it is very often finding more tactics with open maps.

Pardon, I haven’t watched Viper’s recent content, but are you referring to an Amazon Tunnel-esque map, or Amazon Tunnel itself? I’m asking for clarity because Amazon Tunnel isn’t actually new; it’s been around for at least a couple years now.

Niche game using fan base made mods will never be part of the balance decision for the dev team.

So, Author will be completely true that there is no meaning of speaking about OP in dev team.

There may be slightly powerful civs, but nothing is OP if the player is perfect with the strategies learnt from 1v1.

That map isnt an updated Amazon tunnel map. That center top map is one of the most well known maps: Arena.

It looked like mangroove arena, but a little, the shape looked like tunnel too.
