I found out that when selecting teams in team rating, not only the team rating is taken into account, but also the 1v1 rating. That is, if your team rating is 500, and your solo rating is 1000, then the system considers you to be 750-1000 elo player in team games.

Im like pretty sure 1v1 treaty empirevwars rating does not effect team assignment in queue
You would need a substantial sample size to draw such a conclusion.
Even that might not be good enough however. The game doesn’t have enough players in ranked to give you people of the same skill level. Every minute it widens the search. Even if you got matched within seconds of starting your search, you have no way of knowing how long your opponents had been searching. After 7 mins you can get anyone, anywhere on the planet.

True. But i wish the game just return “no opponent found” rather than matching me with some really high or really low opponents xD
While ego deflating, my few bashings from kaister taught me some pretty crazy builds and tricks. I kind of relish the occasional -0/-1 arsekick as you can stress test your builds and learn
Still sometimes suck to wait 10 or 15 minutes just to get clapped or paired vs -1000 elo
