I’ve found that there are proper times of the day to play each civ. My list is:
Morning: Khmer, Britons, Bulgarians, Inca.
Noon: Celts, Sarracens, Cumans, Vietnamese.
Early afternoon: Japanese, Berbers, Sicilians.
Late afternoon: Aztect, Franks, Slavs, Bengalis.
Sunset: Burmese, Gurjaras, Maya.
Night: Chinese, Tatars, Italians, Ethiopians.
I’ve tested this a lot and I guarantee that I have won playing the aforementioned civs at those times.
So, what is your personal list, guys? I talked to a guy who said that Sarracens worked on night for him, which is unlike my list.
Noon is 12:00 exactly. How do you play in noon?
I don’t like those civs, so I almost doesn’t play Aoe2 in winter…
Uh… uh… well, any match that you start at 12:00 is considered to play out at noon, no matter how much it lasts. Heck, why are we so restrictive? Noon can be from 12 sharp to 12:59 and the category extends accordingly.
Sure, yearly seasons matter too. But if you don’t mind… it’s “I don’t play”
