It’s totally unfair that the chinese barracks unit DAO SWORDSMAN is the most powerful barracks unit in the game , that unit has divine damage and is powerful as a fortress unit. chinese players only spam DAO SWORDSMAN and they are really ruining the game experience because the game is very unbalanced.

It’s completely unfair and absurd that the Chinese have a barracks melee unit that has double the hit points, is very powerful, and also has divine damage and costs few resources.
They are do feel strong but you need both Huangdi and Rushou for that, so this is only case for Shennong.
The thing though is that they are very slow and have slow attack rate (1.2) making their DPS and speed lackluster. While you are looking at 15 damage, the 1.2 attack rate makes it 15/1.2 = 12.5 DPS while Berserks have 11.4/0.7= 16.3 dps while being significantly faster.
Also your photos are not quite accurate at maximum stats.
(Freyr ones in comparison: Less stats and no lifesteal but has hero multiplier, higher hitpoints and becomes significantly stronger when it stands still or nearby allied units die). Standing still one below.
All barracks melee units are weak against archers, so your argument makes no sense. Why don’t you mention how unfair it is that the DAO SWORDSMAN has divine damage. Why don’t you mention how unfair it is that the DAO SWORDSMAN has twice as many hit points compared to the Egyptian Axeman?
It is practically impossible to stop a DAO SWORDSMAN spam because they are powerful, they have divine damage and they have many hit points and all that is due to the bad decisions of the game developers. I do not know who came up with such absurd ideas, the developers cannot create very powerful barracks melee units with divine damage because that ruins the game.
Murmillos do divine damage over time with Serrated Blades.
Hoplites do divine damage with Phobos Spear of Panic.
Spearman do divine damage over time with Serpent Spear.
Not really that special. A bunch of other units like Slingers get divine damage too.
Myrmidones even just do pure divine damage.
Also Dao Swordsman are the second slowest infantry unit after Destroyers, which are practically a siege unit.
Dao Swordsman are a nice unit but it clearly has weaknesses with its low speed and slower attack speed for a generalist infantry unit with no normal attack bonuses. Dao Swordsman should not be compared to Egyptian Axeman or Greek Hypaspist only to Norse Berserkers and Atlantean Murmillo which are a generalist unit. Shennong has the best Dao Swordsman in the game but they are not IMO the best infantry unit in the game and its not like there aren’t other units in the game with divine damage.
Does it seem right to you that a barracks melee unit has twice as many hitpoints, has the highest attack damage of any other barracks unit and even has divine damage and costs few resources?
Why don’t you also mention the Chinese upgrade Xuanyuan’s Bloodline? Gives 30% damage and 30% lifesteal to nearby allied infantry units upon death

They really need to stop with that. They don’t know how to buff units anymore, they simple slap 1 divine damage and call it a day. Vikings got it now. What about simple increasing the damage???
In case you’re not aware, the Chinese came out recently and yes, the Chinese are broken and I’m not the only one saying this, many professional players are also saying this.
Barracks melee units are units that are spammed throughout the game, for that reason barracks units can’t be too overpowered with upgrades, nor should they have too many hit points with divine damage because it unbalances the game.
