It’s an outstandingly fun experience, and topped SC2 coop for me even though it is singleplayer.
Huge map, randomized objectives and POIs, various flavours, constant pressure to defend, progression, boons, and it’s an RTS?
I’ve had an itch for exactly this kind of experience that has never been scratched, and boy does this scratch it.
I actually stepped away from AoE and AoM after finishing the campaigns, but this brought me back and interested. I’m now keeping up to date and buying the DLCs.
Love it. Excited for what’s already coming, and hoping for even more.

I’d love to play it eventually, but by the time I buy AOE4 I reckon AOE5 will be released lol. I only played AOE4 on Gamepass on rare occasion 
I Really need a Series X with more disk space and faster frame rate but ah what the hell. I’m sure people will play the co-op, even several years from now. I have no trouble finding players for Halo Wars 2 co-op matches!
What DLC do you have for this? I believe it’s Knights Of Cross & Rose, but there is another DLC which I believe expands the co-op mode? Do explain plz.
The coop mode is not out yet, it will come with the Vikings & Scots DLC.

and I was wrong because I think it’s Dynasties Of The East that adds crucible mode, not C&R, so I’d need Dynasties Of The East and probably Vikings & Scots for this game mode.
They’ll all probably be 50% off when the new one releases.
I’m very excited for coop crucible to have a balanced and official game mode.
But have you tried Sunrunner’s coop crucible mod? You can play as the AI and have up to 8 players, it’s a lot of fun.
