Issue:
The Crucible mode progress gets reset everytime I close and open the game. All perk levels are lost and all unlocked perks are reset to 0. All unlocked difficulties are lost. Only thing that remains is the medals reached.
Trigger Event:
Closing the game and opening it.
Repro Steps:
Also having the same issue. A few others on Steam discussion and Discord mentioned the same; perks and progress disappears after closing and opening the game
For me I only lost the perks from masteries i assume after refunding them or closing not sure
For me lost all perks regardless of them coming from masteries or match rewards.
Same thing happend to me. I had 800+ yesterday, but today nothing?!
When i shut the game down just now, and reopened it, the new from today was there, but thats 325 not 800+

There’s a temporary fix I’ve been using which I found on Discord:
Launched the game, did the following:
Go to your setting.,
Change Something, any setting
Save
Change it back.
Save
Played a game of crucible, got a few perks, quit the game, relaunched now and the perks are still there.
Tried the possible solution by Marhaba but it didn’t work. I changed the “Player Colors: to “Unique” and then to “Team-based” but the game still loses all Crucible progress after I close it. Also, I noticed this setting, “Player Colors” doesn’t stay the same after closing the game. It resets to “Unique” also after closing the game.
The exact steps I’ve been taking are:
Launch game > Into The Crucible > Settings > UI > Set healthbars to always off > Click Save > Click Close > Open settings up again > UI > Set healthbars to Smart - Play a game of Crucible > Choose your perks > Do the same steps again….> Settings > UI > Set healthbars to always off > Click Save > Click Close > Open settings up again > UI > Set healthbars to Smart
Then you can just quit, hopefully once you re-launch then it’ll be there, but when you re-launch, always follow the same steps. I just chose the UI > Healthbars setting randomly, so maybe any setting could work, but this is what’s working for me so far.
This seems to work, at least once. I’ll have to do the same steps each time just in case but I am afraid once I forget and all is lost (again). Thanks Marhaba for the work around!
Did you get your original perk points back or are you just able to preserve all new perk points?
All players have encountered this problem, and the impact is really bad. This mode takes at least 45 minutes per game, and after working hard to finish a game without any reward, it’s really frustrating and a waste of players’ time. It’s simply perfunctory and incompetent for a creator to make such a low-level mistake. And I found that the project of “Elite in Elite” cannot be completed. Although I have gathered three elite units, I am still unable to complete the project despite being proficient in it.
The second one. I lost everything until I did the work around posted earlier.
i have the same problem really frustrating after having all four maps and lost all the reward points it give for achievements. Really disapointed of his DLC, have a leap of faith and still broke my heart…
Is this issue being worked on? I was really exited about The crucible. But it doesn’t make sense to play with this bug.

It is playable, using the steps I posted above. I know it’s a hassle and we shouldn’t have to do it, but once you get used to it, it’s worth it 
I can report that this workaround also only works sometimes. I tried it 10 times, out of that it only worked 8 times. So unfortunately this is still not good enough. To be clear, what I did was use the exact same thing as the health-bars and doing the exact same steps.
Previously it was failing for me 60% of the time. Now its only 20% , but its still not a full-proof workaround. I wish this can be fixed quickly because this is really a widely impacted bug thats totally shutting out Crucible Gameplay like it doesn’t exist.

Until is fixed, is recommended to don´t play crucible.
Yep, it is so bad that this good mode is ruined by such horrible bug. The point of the mode is progression over time!
