When they first released the expansions, they kind of forgot that upgrading cities was a game feature. To my knowledge, they never updated the expansions to include this feature. In AoEIIIDE, did they have the sense to update the expansion and newer civilization cities to be customizable?

Just keep giving your feedback, I’m pretty optimistic that the game will have regular updates like AOE 2 DE.

I meant that both games had some visual features removed in DE. Skeletons in AOE 2 and ship destruction in AOE 3 (apparently, haven’t played the game myself yet).

The game is not that competitive, that they need to take care of something like this.

Idk man i read it on some Blog that they intentionally did it.

But i guess what you are facing is different. And i think you are right they didn’t design it for ulta wide monitors , i guess.
