Hi, I’m fresh after format of PC. Before that , I played + 100h in AOE IV on the same hardware.
After the format, I downloaded all the drivers in detail & did a windows update, c++, directx …
AOE IV starts up, but when I try to play any game it charges up to 3/4 of the bar and … it stops.
In the past, it took about 15 seconds for my game to load. Now, minutes of waiting and nothing: multiplayer game against players, custom game against bot, scenario campaign. Same problem every time. The bar is loaded and is on, the “clues” change, the game is not suspended. It just doesn’t load.
I checked the integrity of the files, flawless. Game reinstalled, still dont work.
Help please.
