Issue:
Game desyncing all players in the game but
Trigger Event: Promotion of Atlantean units after roughly 10+ minutes in game, or when a good amount of time has passed.
(what was happening at the time of the performance/stability issue)
at the time It was a team game and I had been on the defence, at that moment I had 40+ units that I wanted to hero but I Knew it was going to desync, I did it anyway to 100% make sure and It desynced everyone out of the game.
Repro Steps:

go Roughly 10+ minutes into the game when multiple players have armies and bases.
2.make sure to have atleast 40+ troops not hero’d -
wait until he enemies army is attacking something or a teammate or yourself and then hero all the units and it should if people have built up an average amount with an average size army desync the game.

I have been able to reproduce this many times, sometimes it can be abused if the said person is losing to desync and not lose rank or lose.

playing a 1v1 against another player it doesn’t seem to work no matter how many units get hero’d, but in any kind of team game such as 2v2 and above it will always desync when it comes to the point of both sides having an average size army, I have tested this myself and also had friends hero 40+ units at the exact time I say and the game will then desync without fail.

Atlanteans is the issue for causing desyncs in game in every metric I’ve seen, and just to make sure we also tested this and had a 2 and a half hour game with no Atlanteans in the match, we played 2 and a half hours without any desync and finished the game and we really tried to stress it out with multiple titans on a giant map with hundreds of units and it wouldn’t happen but next 4 game we put an Atlantean in and made sure to get over the 10 minute mark and then hero, when my friend did it desynced us all and I did the exact same thing the next match
So all in all any other civ can be played for multiple hours in games without a single desync but whenever an Atlantean is brought in and heros 40+ units later into the game it will give a guarantee desync, it gives frame drops also, bare in mind I’m running on a 7900XTX with a 7800X3D and 32GB of ram, I get roughly 150fps on a 2k monitor so I know its not my computer by any means so no frame drops should be happening and frames are perfect throughout the match UNTIL i hit the hero button of multiple units.
Hopefully this Helps and by all means if you need help with reproducing the steps then I’m more than happy to help with it being simple but if I could give my input, seems as a hero unit is classed as a completely different unit, its killing and spawning 50 units in with complete stat changes in a few seconds and for the game to do that for every player could be messing with the process and causing it to crash because it cant handle the inputs, either way I hope this helps!
