The war elephants of the Tughlaq civilization left me utterly impressed. Among all factions in this DLC, theirs stands out as the most brilliantly designed

Some have asked why this DLC doesn’t include new civilizations. Truthfully, I’m quite satisfied with the current state - an abundance of new civilizations isn’t necessary. In fact, an overabundance can even feel overwhelming. I’d prefer to see the game enhance its details rather than endlessly catering to players with continuous DLC releases. That said, the various elephant units in this update are absolutely fantastic - I’m particularly fond of them.

I truly hope players can utilize the natural terrain in Age of Empires IV to create engaging battles, making them as dynamic and strategic as those in Age of Empires II!

Yes, all in all it’s a very well-rounded DLC… Crucible would be a dynamic campaign and then you have 4 civilizations, 8 maps, 6 biomes, so there’s plenty to draw from…

Elephants are really bad, the ballista elephant costs like 3 springalds while being as effective as one, similarly the raider elephant is absolutely terrible stats for it’s cost and gets destroyed be equal res of horseman.

The only new elephant that is good is the healer elephant but even that is massively OP.

Yes, the ballista elephant should be stronger or cost less population (at least 2 pop)…
