There is a bug with building Cumans tc in feudal age

  • BUILD #: 40874.0
  • PLATFORM: Steam / Microsoft Store
  • OS: Windows 10

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

If Cuman’s first tc is destroyed in feudal age, it takes them as long to rebuild it as it does to build their second tc.

Seems like ‘WAD’: Worked as designed.

I don’t think it should though. This makes Cumans strictly worse than any other civ when building a feudal TC, which is inconsistent with the game design. Outside of starting res penalty, there is no instance of a bonus occasionally making things actively worse for the civ that has it.

I tested it, you are right. I thought what if I delete starting TC then making two TC’s. If they make it normal speed double TC drop and maybe better booming (i dont know if they make it faster i will just watch Spirit of the Law).

seems just like lazy coding to me that they added in the first hotfix, instead of adding a check like if tcnumber >0 {tcbuildtime = tcbuildtime*2}, they just made the tc building time for all feudal tcs double

this might be why persian douching a cuman player does more damage than it should, idk if it affects tc repair time though I havent tested that,

I don’t imagine this would be too difficult to fix

I am not very sure but they will need to update AdvancedGenieEditor mod tool. So they need to make some work. Maybe we will see interesting mods if they make something like that.
