ISSUE EXPERIENCED
DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
When I complete a Three Kingdoms campaign scenario, the decisions I made are supposed to show in the campaign selection menu. This works immediately after I complete a scenario, but if I quit and reopen the game (e.g. to play the next scenario the following day), the decisions message says “Play this scenario to view these decisions.” and the consequences of the decisions I made do not carry over to future scenarios in the way they are supposed to.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)
REPRODUCTION STEPS
List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Play and complete a Three Kingdoms campaign scenario. Make some decisions.
- Exit the game client.
- Reopen the game client (possibly on a later date – not sure if this is necessary).
- View decisions for the completed scenario and see the message mentioned above.
- Play the next scenario to find I do not benefit from the decisions.
EXPECTED RESULT
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
Decisions are supposed to influence future scenarios.
Note: I did not have this problem when I played the Liu Bei campaign, which I think was before a recent update. However, this does now affect the Liu Bei campaign as well as the Cao Cao campaign for me. (I’m not up to the Sun Clan yet.)
IMAGE
ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.
GAME FILES (SAVE / RECORDING)
Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe2spgame) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe2record) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.
(This is a menu/data storage issue, there’s no relevant recording or save game as far as I know.)
