I’ve been hoping this would come for ages, and the devs have started allowing some .JSON files to be modded, but this wasn’t on the list 
I’m talking about modding the original campaigns in the game.
Those files in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\AoE2DE\resources_common\campaign”
cam1.json
cam2.json
Etc etc! Pleeease allow these to be able to be overidden using the usual mod method…
I have a mod which replaces the voice-work back to the original 1999 games, but I can’t change the campaign intro timings without the devs making these .JSON files mod-able! There is still no way to mod this properly without overwriting the files within the game!
